Our new credit card account with Lloyds TSB has already generated a lot of interest – here are some questions our members have been asking.
We’ve teamed up with a new partner, Lloyds TSB, to design a new credit card account for you.
The Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo Credit Card account gives you two cards to make sure you can collect Airmiles wherever you spend. You get the highest Airmiles earn rate on your Lloyds TSB American Express® Card, and on the very few occasions where your American Express® Card is not accepted you can use your Lloyds TSB MasterCard to continue to collect miles.
Actually, American Express® is much more widely accepted than you might think. It’s accepted at nearly 80% of retailers (counting big ones and little ones), and in millions of establishments around the world. Most UK supermarkets, high street retailers, hotels, petrol stations and airlines accept American Express®. You’ll probably find that where you normally use your current credit card, you can use American Express®.
Of course not. The great 1 mile for every £10* on the Lloyds TSB American Express® Card is here to stay. The rate on the Lloyds TSB MasterCard is 1 mile for every £50 you spend.
There will be no annual fee on the Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo Credit Card account and no minimum monthly spend required. There are also no booking fees on the credit card account when you make a booking through AIRMILES.
The Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo Premier Credit Card account has a £50 annual fee and comes with some exceptional benefits. There are no booking fees on the credit card account when you make a booking through AIRMILES.
Most people stay with their current banks and credit cards because it's easy. But getting a better deal takes less time than you probably think - and it's certainly worth your while. After all, the new Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo Credit Card account is now the only way to top up your Airmiles balance with all your spending.
And remember, you'll get an instant 1500 mile voucher within 30 days of spending £10* on your Lloyds TSB American Express® Card. That's enough for 2 free return flights to any of our Zone 1 destinations, as long as you book at least one night's accommodation through AIRMILES at the same time. And filling out a form takes around 10 minutes of your time.

Yes. You can spend Airmiles on low-cost carriers such as FlyBe, Aer Lingus and Monarch Scheduled. And of course, you can also spend them on great-value flights with over 100 scheduled airlines, giving you a huge choice of airports to fly from and to.
Airmiles can be used for all our AIRMILES Zones fares, which apply to a certain number of seats per flight. They’re our best-value fares. Once AIRMILES Zones seats in a particular flight are sold out, we show you our best cash prices instead, which give you Airmiles on your booking. This also applies to destinations not listed in our AIRMILES Zones list. You can collect 1 mile for every £5 you spend, which you can then use next time you book.
If you really want to use your Airmiles for your trip, but can’t find a fare in miles, consider paying cash for your flight (and collecting miles), then use your Airmiles to book a hotel or car hire.
To avoid missing out on Airmiles, apply for your new Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo Credit Card account today. You can shop with your Cards, eat out with your Cards and, or course, travel with your Cards, collecting miles on the lot.
