Terms and conditions

The issue of a credit card depends on Lloyds TSB's assessment of your circumstances. You must be 18 years or older and a UK resident to apply. Minimum salary of £15,000 p.a. required.

**If you use miles or the 1500 mile voucher to make a booking, a £30 admin fee applies if you haven't had any Airmiles added to your account in the 12 months before.

†£50 annual fee. 3% fee for balance transfers, 3% fee or minimum £2.50 for cash advances and 3% (minimum £3) for promotional cheques. 2.95% fee for non-sterling transactions - interest charged on these fees. Balances must be transferred from non-Lloyds TSB group credit cards or store cards within 6 weeks of account opening. You must spend £100 on purchases within the first three months after we open your account this rate is fixed for 6 months from the date the transferred balance is put on your account. Otherwise it is fixed for 3 months after we opened your account. Minimum balance transfer is £100 and is subject to your credit limit. Bonus Airmiles are only awarded on whole multiples of £1000s (£1000, £2000, £3000 etc.) transferred from a single provider. For example, bonus Airmiles would not be rewarded on a balance transfer of £999 or if the transfer is split between more than one credit or store card. Your monthly payments will pay off interest, charges and if relevant, Payment Protection Premiums first. After this we put the rest of your payment to promotional balances. This means that balances on lower rates such as balance transfers are paid off before other balances. For each individual balance transfer there is a 3% fee. Interest is charged on balance transfer fees.

***Companion Ticket terms & conditions

1. One Companion Ticket will be awarded per customer per year subject to a minimum credit card spend of £15,000 per year. £15,000 spend threshold excludes balance transfers, refunded purchases, interest, fees and other charges.
2. To qualify for a Companion Ticket the cardholder must have spent a minimum of £15,000 in the 12 months preceding the anniversary of opening the Lloyds TSB Duo Premier Credit Card Account. In each subsequent year cardholders will qualify if, they have spent a minimum of £15,000 in the preceding 12 months. Companion tickets are limited to one per year. A year will commence on the anniversary of the credit card account.
3. Cardholders will be notified if they have qualified for a Companion Ticket via a voucher on their Airmiles online account approximately 4 weeks after reaching the spend threshold of £15,000

5. The Companion Ticket voucher will be valid for a period of 12 months. Your booking must be made within 12 months after which time the Companion Ticket voucher will expire.
6. Companion Tickets are only available on British Airways flights when used in conjunction with economy class bookings that are purchased with Airmiles. Cash-only purchases shall be excluded. British Airways routes are subject to change and availability.
7. Cardholders use of Companion Tickets will be limited to one ticket per booking.
8. The 'Companion' must travel to the same destination as the cardholder and be accompanied by the cardholder in order to take advantage of the Companion Ticket.
9. Companion Tickets cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and are subject to payment of taxes, fees and charges and availability.
10. Neither the Bank nor Airmiles can guarantee that a Cardholder will be able to use a 'Companion Ticket' on a particular flight.
11. Cardholders must book (through Airmiles) a flight to one of the selected destinations and AIRMILES reserve the right to withdraw or amend this offer upon providing reasonable notice.

Customers who apply through Airmiles and are accepted for the Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo Credit Card Account before 30 September 2010 will be eligible for the 1,500 mile voucher if they make a £10 Eligible purchase on their Airmiles Duo American Express Card before 30 November 2010. The £10 Eligible purchase must be completed in one transaction. For all bookings using the voucher the outbound journey must be completed by the 31 May 2011 after which time the voucher will expire. 1500 mile voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. An eligible purchase does not include cash withdrawals; money transfers; cheques; interest, fees or charges; Payment Protection Cover; transactions at casinos, betting outlets or bookmakers; or payments to offline or online current, savings, sharetrading, spread betting, gambling or other similar accounts. Customers will only be eligible for one joining bonus from Airmiles. In the event that a customer re-applies for the Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo Credit Card Account, Lloyds TSB may process an application and issue the Lloyds TSB Duo cards but Airmiles will not award a further bonus offer. 1,500 miles will show on the customer's Airmiles account as a voucher within 30 days of receiving their first credit card statement detailing the Eligible purchase and will not form part of the Airmiles balance. Once on the account the voucher may be used as full or part payment towards flight or Eurostar bookings on any Airmiles route. At the time of booking travel a minimum of one night's accommodation must be booked through Airmiles in the country of origin, or destination, within the specified dates of travel. Customers may book tickets for more than one passenger but the voucher can only be used for a single booking. If all the miles are not used in a single transaction then the unused Airmiles will expire immediately. Eurostar bookings must be made via our customer contact centre, travel can be booked up to 120 days in advance. Bookings are strictly subject to availability. Eurostar fares may vary. Seats available to us may be limited on some routes – especially in peak periods. Zones and prices are correct at time of going to print, but subject to change.
